Serge Aurier was suspended by Paris Saint-Germain earlier this year after making derogatory comments about the head coach, Laurent Blanc, on social media.
The Paris Saint-Germain defender Serge Aurier has reportedly been arrested following an argument with police.
According to several French media outlets quoting police sources, Aurier was placed in custody on Monday morning after he insulted police officers after an evening out at a Paris nightclub.
Le Parisien reported that Aurier was out with a group of friends near the Champs-Élysées when the altercation happened.
PSG officials said the club will wait until receiving further information before making any comment on an incident “which did not take place during a competition period”,
Aurier was suspended for six weeks in February after a video emerged on social media showing the 23-year-old making derogatory comments about the PSG head coach, Laurent Blanc.
