Hull midfielder Mohamed Diame said his goal that won the playoff final, and took the Tigers back up to the Premier League, was the most important of his career.
The Tigers beat Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 at Wembley on Saturday thanks to Diame's wonder strike in the second half that saw Hull make an immediate return to the world's most lucrative league.
The French-born Senegal international picked up the ball in the final third of the pitch and unleashed a 25-yard screamer that gave Keiren Westwood no chance in the Wednesday goal.
"I don't know if it's the best goal I've ever scored, but it's definitely the most important," Diame told the Hull City's website.
"It's been a long, tough season but we've done it. Now we must enjoy this achievement and celebrate it. I am delighted."
Hull manager Steve Bruce hailed 28-year-old as a big payer who stepped up when team needed him most.
"One of our big players, Mo Diame, has won us back our Premier League status. On the big stage and on the big occasion, he has come up trumps for us," Bruce added.
