Granit Xhaka might regret tattoo after being handed Arsenal squad number

A tattoo is for life, not just Malia 2k16.
New Arsenal signing Granit Xhaka might be regretting his choice of tattoo after Arsene Wenger handed him his squad number.
Xhaka inked the number 34 shirt he wore at both Basel and Borussia Monchengladbach on the back of his neck before completing a move to North London £35million.
But after a merry-go-round that saw Alexis Sanchez take the number seven shirt and Aaron Ramsey change to eight, Xhaka will wear number 16 during his first season at Arsenal.
It’s not like it’s a highly sought after number either. Previous incumbents include Jason Crow, Liam Chilvers, Graham Barrett, Patrick Clegg, Matthew Connoly, Patrick Cregg and Kyle Bartley.
Oh, and some bloke called Ashley Cole as well.
But clearly Francis Coquelin wasn’t in a very charitable mood.
It’s alight though Granit, we’re sure you can find somewhere on Holloway Road to go and get that tattoo sorted.
