Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has moved to price out Barcelona from firming their interest in Spanish right-back Hector Bellerin by slapping a €40 million (£30m) price tag on the 21-year-old, reports Sport.
The PFA Young Player of the Year nominee is being sought as a replacement for Dani Alves, who appears set to leave Camp Nou after eight years and 23 major honours with the Blaugrana due to his contract expiring this summer.
Other elite European clubs are also reportedly interested in Bellerin, who enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in 2014-15 after moving from La Masia in 2011, but French boss Wenger is unwilling to do business with clubs offering just €25m.
