Liverpool are reportedly set to make a bid of £4 million for Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell this week.
Chilwell, 19, is yet to make a Premier League appearance for the Foxes but he has appeared in the cup for the champions, as well as making eight appearances while out on loan with Huddersfield Town.
According to the Mail, Leicester rejected a bid from Arsenal worth £5 million for Chilwell in January but now Liverpool are set to bid £4 million this week.
The report also goes on to say that Chelsea and Manchester City are interested in the youngster, who is about to enter the final year of his contract with the Foxes.
Liverpool fans are particularly unimpressed with current left-back Alberto Moreno, with many believing it is time the club looked for an alternative.
Chilwell is untested at Premier League level, having had to play behind Christian Fuchs and Jeff Schlupp this season, and it is unclear whether Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp would see him as a first team player.
Liverpool will not be playing in European competition next season, having failed to qualify either via the league or through one of the cup competitions, by contrast Leicester will be competing in the Champions League.
