Allegri urges Morata to stay at Juve

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri explained why he urged Alvaro Morata to remain at the club amid concerns that Real Madrid may activate their buyback clause.
Los Blancos included a €30 million buyback clause in the Spanish forward’s contract with the Scudetto champions, which they look set to activate in the off-season, reportedly to sell him for a profit.
However, Allegri feels the move would be detrimental to the player’s career, telling Sky: “I’ve already given Morata some advice: he needs to stay at Juventus.
“Above all, because Juventus is one of the biggest clubs in the world, it always has been, but especially in recent years.
“He must stay at Juventus to keep growing because he hasn’t yet reached that level of balance and strength that a player must have, because he’s still just 23.
“Don’t forget that Morata arrived last year from Real Madrid, and was treated as ‘that Real Madrid kid’. He grew up at Juventus, but since he still has growth to achieve, Juventus is the right environment.”
