Zlatan Ibrahimovic could earn up to £400,000-per-week at Manchester United

Exciting times lie ahead for Manchester United - very exciting times indeed.
Following Louis van Gaal's sacking, the Red Devils are reportedly lining up Jose Mourinho as his successor alongside a host of world-class signings.
One of such arrivals could be Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The 34-year-old striker's Paris Saint-Germain contract expires this summer and has been frequently linked with a move to Old Trafford.
Mourinho's seemingly imminent hiring will only bolster United's chances of signing the Sweden international, but if recent reports are to be believed, so will the wages they plan to offer him.
According to The Sun, Ibrahimovic has been offered a mammoth £250,000-per-week wage packet to join.
And that's not all - far from it.
The same report suggests that his deal would also include an £8 million signing on bonus, which he would be entitled to should he decide to leave after just one season.
If you haven't already worked it out, Ibrahimovic's weekly wages would work out to approximately £400,000-per-week should he decide to up sticks next summer.
Such outrageous wages would be somewhat justified if the Swede guides United to Premier League glory, but there's a huge risk attached to his potential move.
Indeed, Ibrahimovic was outstanding last season for PSG and is still capable of performing at the top, but the Premier League is an entirely different kettle of fish to anything he has ever experienced.
Physicality shouldn't be an issue, but the sheer pace at which football is played in England's top-flight is unlike anything found in Ligue 1.
Regardless, on a free transfer, Ibrahimovic is a risk worth taking.
Genuinely world-class strikers are few and far between in European football - reasonably priced ones anyway - suggesting Ibra is United's best bet.
Reports have also revealed how the former Barcelona and AC Milan star could be handed a coaching role, but that remains to be seen.
Elsewhere, Mourinho appears to be interested in bringing another striker to Old Trafford.
According to the Independent, the Portuguese has identified Real Madrid's Karim Benzema as a player he wants to sign this summer.
The pair worked together at the Bernabeu, during which time Benzema played arguably his best football in Los Blancos' famous white strip.
The French striker has previously revealed how Mourinho improved him.
He said: "He criticised me, but it was his way of making me react. At the start, it hurt me, but I am used to it now."
