Hull City vs Derby County - Allan McGregor is Hull injury

Posted Tuesday, May 17, 2016 by PA

Hull manager Steve Bruce says goalkeeper Allan McGregor is rated at less than 50/50 to make their Sky Bet Championship play-off semi-final second leg with Derby.

McGregor missed Saturday's first leg due to a back injury so Eldin Jakupovic is on standby to deputise, just as he did in the 3-0 success at the iPro Stadium.

That is Bruce's only fresh selection concern as his side aim to complete the job and book their place in the Wembley final.

Nick Powell (thigh) remains a long-term absentee.

Derby head coach Darren Wassall has the same players available.

Andreas Weimann was left out of the squad at the weekend but with the Rams needing goals the former Aston Villa forward could find himself back in the frame on Tuesday night.

Midfielder George Thorne is Wassall's only absentee after suffering a double leg break on the final day of the regular season.

The likes of Chris Baird, Jeff Hendrick, Jacob Butterfield, Nick Blackman and Darren Bent, together with Weimann, are options for Derby, who are the only side to defeat Hull on home soil this campaign in the league - although even a repeat of that 2-0 victory in November would not be enough.
