Oxford United vs Wycombe Wanderers - Kemar Roofe likely Oxford's main injury concern ahead of crunch Wycombe clash

Top-scorer Kemar Roofe appears to be Oxford's main injury concern ahead of their crunch promotion mission against Wycombe on Saturday.

Roofe missed last weekend's 2-0 win against Carlisle due to an ankle problem, and Oxford manager Michael Appleton will keep a close eye on him as his team prepare for their date with destiny at the Kassam Stadium.

Victory for Oxford would secure automatic promotion, and their prospects were boosted by four players - John Lundstram, Joe Skarz, Jordan Bowery and Sam Long - being in the match-day squad at Carlisle following recent injury niggles.

Johnny Mullins has still to return from an ankle problem, though, and could run out of time before the Wycombe encounter.

Wycombe will check on the fitness of Joe Jacobson, with the defender struggling with back and hamstring issues recently.

Wanderers boss Gareth Ainsworth has no new problems, though. He remains without midfield trio Luke O'Nien (knee), Sam Wood (knee) and Matt Bloomfield (broken arm) for the season's finale.

It remains to be seen whether on-loan Aston Villa goalkeeper Benjamin Siegrist will get the nod between the posts again after making his debut last weekend, or if Ryan Allsop will be recalled.

Gozie Ugwu, Stephen McGinn, Rowan Liburd, Ryan Sellers and Max Kretzschmar are also options for Ainsworth as he looks to end the campaign by snapping a seven-game winless run.
