Preston's Marnick Vermijl could return to the starting line-up to face Leeds on Saturday, following his substitute appearance against Reading.

Anders Lindegaard failed to recover from injury with Chris Kirkland deputising and the former England goalkeeper looks to retain his place.

Midfielder John Welsh looks set to miss out with a calf injury that has kept him out of the last two games.

Ben Pearson return to the squad as an unused substitute against the Royals and will probably feature at some point against the Yorkshire side.

On-loan winger Mustapha Carayol is set to miss out for Leeds as he will not be risked due to his hamstring injury.

Gaetano Berardi is definitely out of the match with ankle-ligament damage sustained two games ago.

Alex Mowatt could be back after returning from his three-match ban by appearing off the bench.

It remains to be seen if Giuseppe Bellusci will be part of the team, with the Italian not making the squad in the last two encounters.
