Nick Pope could start in goal for Charlton

Posted Friday, May 06, 2016 by PA

Goalkeeper Nick Pope is waiting in the wings to replace Stephen Henderson against Burnley, with the latter still nursing a calf problem.

Patrick Bauer is ruled out of the game with the ankle injury that has prevented him from playing since December last year.

Reza Ghoochannejhad and Ahmed Kashi could make the matchday squad following hamstring and Achilles injuries respectively.

A win for promoted Burnley will see them crowned champions of the Sky Bet Championship.

Dean Marney missed last week's 1-0 home win over QPR with a tight hamstring and it is unsure whether he will be risked.

David Jones replaced Marney in the centre of midfield and looks set to retain that position ahead of Matt Taylor.

Manager Sean Dyche has no other injury or suspension concerns.
