Chelsea chasing £45m Serie A striker who gave Antonio Conte headaches

Soon-to-be Chelsea manager Antonio Conte will have a lot of options on the table to bring with him to Stamford Bridge once he takes control of the team after Euro 2016. Naturally he will most likely set his sights on Serie A, where he managed his entire career prior to taking over the Italy job in 2014. With plenty of cash to spend, Conte appears ready to get one of the league's best players – Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain.
According to the Metro, Conte is believed to be 'confident' in landing Higuain in a £45 million transfer deal – and might get him for a significant discount from the Argentine's alleged £79 million release clause.
Higuain did his best to make life miserable for Conte during his time with Napoli, beating Conte's Juventus team in the 2013-14 season to end a 22-week unbeaten run in Serie A.
The Argentine striker has 32 goals in Serie A this season, equaling the combined total of the next two top goalscorers (Paulo Dybala and Carlos Bacca) as of writing.
