Casemiro and Benzema ruled out of second leg

The squad list for Real Madrid's clash with Manchester City has been released, with Casemio and Karim Benzema both unavailable for Los Blancos.

While Real coach Zinedine Zidane is able to bring Cristiano Ronaldo back into his side, following a three-game absence, he does not possess a fully fit squad.

Confirmed by the Frenchman the day before the Champions League semi-final second leg, Casemiro will not be risked due to a hip complaint, while Benzema has not recovered from a hamstring injury.

Naturally, the Frenchman's 23 goals already bagged in 2015/16 will be missed on a crucial night in the capital, but with any City away goal putting Real in a perilous position, their defensive midfielder will give confidence to the visitors.

Meanwhile, Toni Kroos has been confirmed as available after sitting out the weekend win at Real Sociedad, while Alvaro Arbeloa and Borja Mayoral have also made the matchday squad.

Full Real Madrid squad to face Man City:

GK: Keylor Navas, Kiko Casilla, Ruben Yanez;

DEF: Raphael Varane, Pepe, Sergio Ramos, Nacho, Marcelo, Dani Carvajal, Alvaro Arbeloa, Danilo;

MID: Toni Kroos, James Rodriguez, Gareth Bale, Mateo Kovacic, Luka Modric Isco;

ATT: Cristiano Ronaldo, Lucas Vazquez, Jese Rodriguez, Borja Mayoral.
