Saint-Etienne 2 - 0 Lorient: Nolan Roux double keeps St Etienne in European race
Posted Monday, April 25, 2016 by PA
St Etienne left it late as Nolan Roux's brace helped keep alive Les Verts' hopes of European qualification with a 2-0 win against Lorient.
Roux's first - his fourth goal in five games - was almost kept out by the diving Benjamin Lecomte after Romain Hamouma had picked out the in-form hitman in the 76th minute.
The former Lille striker netted his second of the game in added time, slotting beyond Lecomte after Raphael Gueirrero missed his defensive header to let Roux in.
Defeat for Lorient leaves them seven points clear of the bottom three with three games left to play.
