Huge Neymar transfer revelation: Man United fans prepare to be stunned

BARCELONA are considering selling Neymar this summer because they can’t afford his wage demands.

The Sun claim the Manchester United target is demanding an increase from his current £77,000-a-week deal with the Red Devils willing to offer £300,000-a-week.

Neymar has a £144m release clause in his contract and any transfer would likely set a new world record.

The 24-year-old has been in sensational form for Barcelona this season, scoring 28 goals and providing 23 assists in all competitions.

The Spanish giants are aware they need to offer Neymar an improved contract to keep him at the Nou Camp but are worried about their financial position.

Spanish football expert Guillem Balague said: “It has been a fascinating story all season, a new twist to it happened this week.

''Two Catalan newspapers started a sort of campaign against Neymar, and those things never take place by chance.

''It seems the club was not fully unhappy that the papers have suggested Neymar’s lifestyle is not ideal for a elite player and some of his team mates are not happy with that.

''It coincided with Barcelona’s defeats and of course with the fact that the club has not sorted out yet a sponsor for next season.
