Posted Sunday, April 10, 2016 by PA
Ingolstadt all but mathematically ensured their place in the Bundesliga next season with a 1-0 win over Borussia Monchengladbach which takes them closer to a place in Europe next term than relegation to the 2. Bundesliga
Moritz Hartmann scored the all-important goal just three minutes from the final whistle when, at full stretch, he converted a flick by Almog Cohen from Mathew Leckie's cross for his ninth goal of the season.
Ramazan Ozcan made a fine save to deny Andre Hahn at the death as Ingolstadt moved nine points clear of the bottom three, and to within six points of their fourth-placed guests.
