Bastia 2 - 1 Marseille: Bastia heap more misery on sorry Marseille
Posted Monday, April 04, 2016 by PA
Marseille's winless run reached nine Ligue 1 games as they went down 2-1 at Bastia.
The hosts took the lead two minutes into the second half, Karim Rekik inadvertently diverting Francois Kamano's cross into his own goal.
They extended their advantage nine minutes later, Gael Danic scoring from the penalty spot after Marseille goalkeeper Steve Mandanda had brought down Kamano.
Marseille pulled one back with 13 minutes left through Michy Batshuayi's turn and shot from the edge of the area, but Romain Alessandrini's straight red card after 85 minutes derailed an unlikely comeback from the away side.
