Dumbarton vs Greenock Morton - Mark Docherty and Jonathan Routledge return as Dumbarton take on Morton

Dumbarton have Mark Docherty and Jonathan Routledge available after suspension as they return to action against visitors Morton after a two-week break.

Everyone else in the Sons squad is available to manager Stephen Aitken who said: "It has been a long period without a game especially when you consider we lost 6-0 to Queen of the South in our last outing.

"We did not see a result like that coming as we had played really well against Falkirk the week before.

"We have to bounce back against Morton. We have worked really hard on the training pitch to put things right and hopefully that will show in this game."

Morton have a doubt over Stef McCluskey who has a knock and he could join the already injured Frank McKeown (knee), Conor Pepper (knee) and Michael Tidser (groin) in missing out.

The play-offs now look beyond the Greenock side however manager Jim Duffy does not want a successful first season back in the Championship to peter out.

Duffy said: "We will be remaining competitive as we want to finish as high up the table as possible.

"Dumbarton will have had a real jolt after their defeat at Dumfries as no-one expected that. They are usually a very competent side and winning this game will be a challenge."
