Eric Dier reveals England's 'Spurs boys' shared a 'moment' after Germany heroics
England had four Tottenham players feature against Germany in the 3-2 victory

The matchwinner and Harry Kane, who got the opener, got together with star man Dele Alli, debutant Danny Rose and unused sub Kyle Walker in a private club-mates only celebration amid the mayhem of the 3-2 triumph over Germany.

Across the room was Adam Lallana and Nathaniel Clyne, who were at Southampton under the leadership of the influential Pochettino, who could be about to reshape the game in England.

Dier said: "We did have a moment together afterwards in the dressing room. It's great for us five - Walks didn't get on but the five of us were all here.

"We really enjoyed it and all four of us put in a good performance.

"I am really happy for Danny because it's been a long time coming. He's been the best left-back in the Premier League this season so I am happy he got his chance.

"Obviously we have to be thankful for our manager as well, for being able to put us in this position by giving us a chance at our club and for improving us.

"Us Spurs boys know how lucky we are because he's been brilliant for us. He demands a lot, always wanting us to improve and wanting us to be better.

"That's what has put us in this position so we're very grateful for him and we want to repay him."

Pochettino's never-say-die attitude has rescued many points from losing positions from Tottenham this season and it appeared to transmit itself to international level, with England coming from 2-0 down to win for the first time in nearly 40 years.

"It was a brilliant response," said Dier. "Everyone was down after the second goal, but when Harry made it 2-1 that lifted everyone.

"It sort of had a Premier League feeling about it.

"A lot of times in the Premier League when you're 2-0 up and someone scores, they go onto win it. So that lifted everyone."
