Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was all smiles as he enjoyed an Arsenal gym session with Carl Jenkinson as the pair work on their fitness levels.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is currently sidelined with a knee injury picked up during Arsenal's 2-0 loss to Barcelona in the Champions League last month.

Jenkinson, who was on loan to West Ham from Arsenal this season, is out of action with a knee injury and is unlikely to feature again this season.

However, despite their fitness woes, both Olxlade-Chamberlain and Jenkinson looked to be in good spirits as they hit the gym together on Monday.

Oxlade-Chamberlain shared the photo above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: "Afternoon gym session with @carljenkinson 💪 Welcome home mate!!!"

Arsenal are currently gearing up for their FA Cup fifth-round replay clash against Hull City on Tuesday night as they look to reach the quarter-finals.

The Gunners came from a goal down to earn a 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
