Sheffield Wed. vs Rotherham United - Fernando Forestieri missing for Sheffield Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday will be without suspended forward Fernando Forestieri for their home game against South Yorkshire rivals Rotherham.

Forestieri was sent off after receiving two yellow cards in last Friday's goalless draw at Hull and will serve a two-game ban for his second dismissal in seven days.

Head coach Carlos Carvalhal will otherwise choose from an almost full-strength squad with only goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith (back) not in contention.

Striker Atdhe Nuhiu, winger Ross Wallace, plus midfielders Alex Lopez and Lewis McGugan are among those pushing for recalls as the Owls chase their first league win in four matches.

Rotherham boss Neil Warnock has no new injury or suspension worries as his side chases back-to-back league wins in their fight against relegation.

Midfielder Lee Frecklington made his first appearance in over two months after a groin injury in last week's home win against Brentford and forward Danny Ward returned following concussion. Both players are expected to feature at Hillsborough.

Defender Lloyd Doyley is working his way back from a muscle strain that has restricted him to one appearance since arriving last month and will be monitored.

Former Leeds striker Luciano Becchio is struggling for match fitness following a calf injury and is not in contention.
