Walsall vs Barnsley - Boss Sean O'Driscoll likely to keep faith with Walsall squad

Walsall could have an unchanged squad as they try to keep pace with the top two in Sky Bet League One.

They drew 0-0 with Scunthorpe on Tuesday, although Rico Henry is pushing to start after coming off the bench.

Boss Sean O'Driscoll is considering a tactical switch to give forward Tom Bradshaw a strike partner with the 23-year-old scoring just once in his last eight games.

Isaiah Osbourne remains out with a knee problem which has stopped him from making his debut since signing in the summer.

Barnsley will include new teenage loan signing Callum Connolly in their squad after the defender joined on loan from Everton for a month.

Connolly, who can play right-back or left-back and is comfortable in midfield, could make his debut as Barnsley bid to climb into a play-off spot.

Interim head coach Paul Heckingbottom has injury concerns over leading goalscorer Sam Winnall (ankle), midfielder Lloyd Isgrove (knock) and defender James Bree (hamstring).

All three sustained injuries during the midweek win against Coventry and will be assessed. Middlesbrough loanee Harry Chapman is pushing for his first start as the Reds chase an 11th win in their last 13 league matches.
