Scunthorpe United vs Gillingham - Luke Williams set to boost Scunthorpe
Posted Thursday, March 03, 2016 by PA
Defender Luke Williams is in line to return to the Scunthorpe squad for the Sky Bet League One clash with Gillingham at Glanford Park.
Williams has missed the last four games with a leg injury but has returned to training and although Tuesday's draw with Walsall came too soon for him he should be available to face Justin Edinburgh's side.
Captain Stephen Dawson came through the clash with Walsall unscathed following a minor hamstring issue so should retain his place in the side.
Manager Nick Daws has no other injury problems so will have a full squad to select from.
George Williams is set to keep his place in the Gillingham line-up.
The on-loan Fulham striker impressed after replacing Bradley Dack in the midweek defeat at Fleetwood after the 15-goal leading scorer was ruled out for a month with a hamstring problem.
Defender John Egan (knee) and skipper Doug Loft (leg) remain sidelined.
Dominic Samuel may be recalled after being dropped for the 2-1 reverse at Fleetwood.
