York City vs Northampton Town - Luke Hendrie back for York as they look to get back to winning ways

York boss Jackie McNamara will have full-back Luke Hendrie available after suspension as the Minstermen attempt to return to winning ways against League Two leaders Northampton.

Hendrie has missed the last three games after being sent off against the Cobblers in a 2-0 defeat at the Sixfields Stadium on February 6, but has now completed his ban and could replace loan signing Lubo Satka, who endured a difficult afternoon in Saturday's 3-1 defeat at Cambridge.

Striker Jack Hyde played the last 28 minutes at the Abbey Stadium, his third appearance since returning from a groin injury, and he will hope for a place in the starting line-up.

Keeper Scott Flinders, who found himself a target for disgruntled fans in the wake of Saturday's defeat which ended a run of three wins in four league outings, seems likely to keep his place after McNamara leapt to his defence.

By contrast, the Cobblers will head for Bootham Crescent looking for a 10th successive league victory having broken a 56-year-old club record with their home win over Wycombe at the weekend.

They will do so having signed Millwall striker John Marquis on loan for the remainder of the season after skipper and leading scorer Marc Richards was ruled out for at least four weeks with an Achilles injury which could yet require surgery.

Marquis returns to Sixfields having made 14 appearances and scored two goals during a loan spell during the second half of the 2013-14 season.

Manager Chris Wilder otherwise has a more of less full squad from which to choose, although midfielder Paul Corry has only just started running again after recovering from a knee injury suffered in September.
