Werder Bremen 1 - 1 Hoffenheim: Julian Nagelsmann starts off with draw as Hoffenheim share points with Bremen

Julian Nagelsmann picked up a point on his coaching debut as his Hoffenheim side drew 1-1 at Werder Bremen.
Nagelsmann, the youngest coach to have sat on the bench of a Bundesliga club at the age of 28, could hardly have imagined a better start with Andrej Kramaric heading them in front from close range after nine minutes.
Their joy was short-lived, however, with Papy Djilobodji meeting a 13th-minute corner and his shot took a wicked deflection off Ermin Bicakcic, leaving Oliver Baumann no chance in the Hoffenheim goal.
Bremen had the better chances to win it, but Hoffenheim held on, even with 10 men after Kramaric earned his marching orders late on. The result leaves five points still between the two sides near the bottom of the table.
