Dagenham and Redbridge vs Barnet - Suspended Josh Passley missing for Daggers

Dagenham will be without the suspended Josh Passley for their Sky Bet League Two clash with Barnet on Saturday.

The 21-year-old defender was sent off in the weekend loss to Wycombe, with a run of three defeats in their last four league games leaving the Daggers 23rd in the division.

Manager John Still must decide who will come in to replace Passley, with the experienced Justin Hoyte the likely candidate, and the Dagenham boss believes his squad is good enough to get out of trouble before the end of the season.

"With the amount of games we have left, I know we're capable of winning three, four or five together. The side is getting stronger and the power is beginning to come through. The rest will slip into place," he told the club's official website.

Barnet have been boosted by the return to fitness of John Akinde, who is expected to partner Shaun Batt up front in manager Martin Allen's preferred 4-4-2 formation.

Alie Sesay and Mark Randall are in contention for their first starts for the club, having both made substitute appearances since joining on loan from Leicester and MK Dons respectively.

Allen is, however, still without long-term absentees Graham Stack and Michael Nelson.

Gavin Hoyte requires an operation, and is expected to be out for longer than six months.
