Goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez could return to the Wolves side for the first time in three months against Preston.

The Argentinian, on loan from Portuguese side Nacional, has been sidelined by a thigh injury, with Carl Ikeme performing well in his place.

Mike Williamson (hamstring) is closing in on a first appearance since joining the club permanently last month but is not quite ready.

Fellow defender Kortney Hause, who has been out since October with a hamstring problem, played for the under-21s this week but needs more game time before returning to the first-term ranks.

Preston should arrive at Molineux with an unchanged squad but boss Simon Grayson may make alterations to his starting line-up.

The likes of Paul Huntington, Daniel Johnson, John Welsh and Eoin Doyle are vying for recalls.

Midfielder Ben Pearson will complete a two-match suspension after amassing 10 yellow cards this season.

Striker Jermaine Beckford (knee) remains sidelined and Liam Grimshaw's debut is on hold after the former Manchester United midfielder's recent knee surgery.
