Diego Simeone is unlikely to be appointed Chelsea manager this summer because of Roman Abramovich's misgivings about his style of play, according to the Daily Mail.
The Blues are currently searching for their next manager after sacking Jose Mourinho and placing Guus Hiddink in temporary charge, with Atletico Madrid boss Simeone considered a serious contender.
However, Abramovich is understood to believe that the Argentine's workmanlike football is too similar to that of Mourinho, with Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri and Italy national team coach Antonio Conte instead favoured for the job.
