Cowdenbeath 1 - 2 Albion Rovers FC: Scott McBride double earns Albion victory at Cowdenbeath
Posted Wednesday, February 10, 2016 by PA
Scott McBride scored twice to earn Albion a 2-1 win at Cowdenbeath.
The visitors scored from their first chance of the night, with McBride firing the ball into the top corner from inside the area.
It was all square in the 27th minute when Pat Scullion's cross was neatly converted by Greig Spence from close in.
Chances were at a premium for the remainder of the half, but Albion regained the lead early in the second half as McBride picked his spot into the top corner for his second of the game.
Alistair Love fired wide of the left-hand upright and Andy Barrowman headed over the crossbar as Albion saw the game out with ease.
