MK Dons vs Middlesbrough - Alex hoping to Revell in the limelight

Alex Revell will look to make his MK Dons debut as they welcome Middlesbrough in the Sky Bet Championship on Tuesday.

The 32-year-old striker was unable to play against his former club Cardiff on Saturday but is expected to be in Karl Robinson's team for this midweek clash.

Robinson has no fresh injury or suspension worries but Carl Baker, Ben Reeves and Matt Upson are still unavailable through injury.

The Dons sit just two points above the relegation zone and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, who joined the club in January, will bid for a first start after coming off the bench against Cardiff.

Jordan Rhodes made his Boro bow as a late substitute in Saturday's 1-1 draw with former club Blackburn at the Riverside Stadium and will now hope to be named in the starting XI.

The B£9million man played the final 13 minutes but could get the nod up front as head coach Aitor Karanka looks to steer his side back towards the top of the table.

Loan signing Gaston Ramirez was an unused substitute at the weekend and will also be looking for a first involvement, but centre-back Daniel Ayala is struggling with an ankle injury.

Grant Leadbitter and Adam Clayton will have to be careful with both midfielders on nine bookings for the season and facing the prospect a two-game ban for picking up a 10th.
