Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez is loving life in Germany.
Having been cast off by Louis van Gaal on Transfer Deadline Day last August, the Mexican dusted himself down, kept his chin up and started banging in the goals for new side Bayer Leverkusen.
His brilliant form and goals ratio had already seen him win 2 player of the month awards, and he's now made it an incredible hat-trick by landing the January award.
Granted, Manchester United are currently scoring goals, but this award for Chicha merely reinforces the notion that Van Gaal was silly to let the Mexican leave last summer.
To think that he he is beating the likes of Aubameyang and Lewandowski to these awards!
They could have undeniably done with his buzzing bee impression and goal threat, especially during all those dire 0-0 draws…
He now has 22 goals in all competitions for Leverkusen – more than Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial have managed combined.
