Stenhousemuir vs Dunfermline - Goalkeeping problems for Warriors as they prepare for Dunfermline battle
Posted Saturday, February 06, 2016 by PA
Stenhousemuir manager Brown Ferguson is on the hunt for a goalkeeper ahead of the visit of League One leaders Dunfermline after on-loan Falkirk stopper Graham Bowman picked up a knock in training.
Jamie Barclay, who started the season as number one, has a thigh strain and Dean Shaw is out with a back injury so Ferguson is scouring the loan market to see who is available.
Experienced striker Jason Scotland is free of injury and Kieran Millar returns after illness for Ferguson, who said: "It is not the ideal way to prepare for the game against a strong Dunfermline side but we will need someone in should Graham not make it."
Dunfermline winger Joe Cardle is expected to return after illness ruled him out of the 1-0 defeat to Airdrie in their last outing.
Craig Reid is added to the squad after joining from Motherwell this week but illness continues to rule out Lewis Martin, while Ryan Williamson and Callum Fordyce are not yet ready to return after broken legs.
Pars boss Allan Johnston said: "Losing to Airdrie was disappointing but we will look to move on quickly and we will do that if we get things right in the final third.
"We have not scored in our last three games but if we play at the quick tempo that we can then goals will come."
