Moreno adjusting to the Premier League
Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno says he is finally finding his feet in the Premier League after joining from Sevilla in the summer of 2014, and is growing in confidence after every game he plays.

Moreno didn't have the best of starts to life at Liverpool and was dropped by former Reds manager Brendan Rodgers and had to watch as a teenager took his place, but this hasn't deterred him and he has worked hard to regain his place under Jurgen Klopp.

Klopp is a big fan of attack-minded full-backs and this is a strong part of Moreno's game which is being well utilised by the German manager.

"He's a manager who likes his full-backs to be very attacking and that's something I love. I really like supporting the attack." Moreno told ESPN FC.

His numbers support his attacking ability as he has created 46 chances and put in 20 crosses in the league this season.

"He's a manager who really feels football. It's his passion and he transmits this to the dressing room which is important before you go out on the pitch. He's a very open manager and is always talking to the players; he tells you your shortcomings and what you're good at."

One of the biggest hurdles Moreno had to overcome was the language barrier which played a part in him being dropped in favour of Joe Gomez.

"Not being able to talk with my teammates, not being understood on the pitch, that was maybe one of the things [that led to being dropped]. At no point did I lose confidence; I always believe in myself and do what I have to do; what I know how to do.

"But, as I said, you need to connect with your teammates on the pitch, to communicate well with them and, when you can't do that, it makes things difficult. But that will improve from year to year.

"I understand a lot more, but when it comes to speaking, I find it difficult. But I hope to learn in the three years I have left on my contract. I'm happy here, my family is happy here and I will keep on giving my all for Liverpool. I'm very focused."

Moreno will be looking to keep his place and his good form going when Liverpool entertain Sunderland at Anfield on Saturday.
