Neymar's mother to declare in Brazil in March

Neymar's mother, Nadine Gonçalves Da Silva, and two former presidents of Santos will declare before Brazilian judges on the allegedly irregular signing of the player by FC Barcelona, and their statements will then be sent to the National Court in Madrid.
The three will appear in Brazil as the accused via letter rogatory in the fraud and corruption case being heard by the magistrate Jose de la Mata, 'Efe' has been told by legal sources.
The statements by the striker's mother and the former presidents of the Sao Paulo outfit, Odilio Rodríguez and Luis Alvaro de Oliveira, will be heard on the aforementioned dates in two courts in the Brazilian cities of Santos and Sao Paulo.
Judge De la Mata had cited them to appear this week in Madrid, along with Neymar and his father, but they availed themselves of the legal assistance treaty with the country, which allows its citizens to appear before a judge in Brazil instead of travelling to Spain.
