Leicester's bid for Niang rejected, confirms agent

AC Milan has rejected an offer from Leicester City for M'Baye Niang and will not sell the striker this month, according to his agent.

The Foxes made a bid worth up to €16 million ($17.3 million) for the 21-year-old, with €10 million being paid up front, €5 million in June and another €1 million if Claudio Ranieri's team secures qualification for the Champions League.

But Niang's representative, Moussa Ndiaye, says Milan wants to keep the Frenchman and will not entertain any further bids between now and the end of January.

"Milan does not want to sell him, they have confidence in him," Ndiaye told Goal. "He is doing well and everything is done for. So they rejected the interest."

Niang has scored two goals in his 10 appearances in Serie A for the Rossoneri this season.
