Ajax Amsterdam were unable to find the back of the net despite dominating Heracles at the ArenA in the Eredivisie on Tuesday night.
Ajax produced nine goal attempts to Heracles three and prevented the visitors from registering a single shot on target.
The home side also enjoy the lion's share of the time on the ball and claimed 64% of the possession throughout the entire match.
The draw extends the Godenzonen's lead over PSV Eindhoven at the top of the league table to four points, but the Boeren have a game in hand to close the gap.
In the other game in the Dutch topflight on Tuesday a very late goal from Hedwiges Maduro earned Groningen a 1-1 draw against Willem II at the Konig Willem II Stadion.
Dries Wuytens gave the home side the lead a minute before half time and they looked to be cruising to a win when Maduro scored in the fourth minute of injury time to rescue a point for his side.
