Chelsea want to reinforce their defence by signing Paris Saint-Germain star Thiago Silva on loan, according to the Daily Star.
The newspaper reports that the Brazil centre-back is wanted by the Premier League holders in a short-term bid to improve a unit that has been leaking goals so far this season.
The Blues believe the 31-year-old's experience could prove vital, the Star claims, and can afford to pay his ï¿¡170,000-a-week wages.
