Leicester City striker Andrej Kramaric has joined Bundesliga outfit TSG Hoffenheim on loan until the end of the 2015/16 campaign.
The 24-year-old makes the switch to Germany after failing to nail down a regular starting berth under Foxes manager Claudio Ranieri, having made just five first-team appearances this term.
However, Ranieri has made it clear that he will closely follow the progress of the Croatia international at TSG Hoffenheim.
"Andrej has the European Championships to think about this summer, so it's important for him that he has the opportunity to play," Ranieri told the club's official website.
"He is a fantastic player and a great professional but, in this moment, we have other strikers that are playing well.
"I spoke with him to understand what he wants to do and a loan is a solution that works for everybody. We will watch him closely at Hoffenheim."
Kramaric will be hoping to make his debut when fifth-placed Leverkusen visit Rhein-Neckar Arena on Saturday. Huub Stevens' men are currently rock bottom in the Bundesliga standings, having picked up 13 points from their opening 17 fixtures.
