Barnet 0 - 0 Carlisle: Carlisle held in goalless stalemate at Barnet

Carlisle missed the opportunity to climb into the Sky Bet League Two play-off places as they were held to a goalless draw at Barnet.
The home side had the better chances of an uneventful first half with full-back Gavin Hoyte volleying over when unmarked at the back post and forward Shaun Batt scuffing wide of the right upright after breaking free in the Carlisle penalty box.
United midfielder Jason Kennedy was narrowly off target at the other end with a 25-yard volley, while Hallam Hope skied over following Charlie Wyke's centre.
Bees defender Bondz N'Gala headed over from Elliott Johnson's left-wing cross early in the second period before Hope's low strike was denied by a diving save from Barnet goalkeeper Jamie Stephens after the on-loan Bury forward had tricked his way past substitute Alie Sesay on the left.
Keith Curle's visitors controlled possession in the closing stages of the game but neither side threatened a late winner as they were forced to settle for a point apiece.
