Liverpool to sell Daniel Sturridge: Jurgen Klopp has had enough of striker
EXIT DOOR: Klopp could get rid of Sturridge

According to the Mirror, the Liverpool boss has become increasingly frustrated with the striker's injury record.

Sturridge has played just 106 minutes of football for the German and now he has had enough.

The Mirror claim Liverpool are ready to listen to offers of around £25m.

The Kop striker has not played since picking up a hamstring injury against Newcastle at the start of December.

Sturridge, 26, raised hopes he was ready to return after putting out on social media he was “Good to go” after the Reds’ win over Leicester on Boxing Day.

Klopp immediately called for caution and reaffirmed his desire for Sturridge to complete a mini pre-season to ensure no further set-backs after a series of lengthy lay-offs.

Sturridge has been plagued by injuries for more than 18 months and missed most of last season due to calf and thigh problems.

His season was then ended by hip surgery which also delayed his return to this campaign.

But he has since had knee and foot issues before suffering the hamstring injury on December 6 against Newcastle in what was just his sixth appearance of the season.
