WANTED MAN: Guardiola is on the way to English football

The Spaniard announced last week that’s he is quitting Bayern Munich for the Premier League in the summer.

That’s put Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea on red alert as they ponder drafting in the ex-Barcelona boss.

Guardiola revealed last week he wants "new stadiums, cities and restaurants to know" when he heads across the channel at the end of the season.

And the 44-year-old has now been offered a reservation by Manchester Thai restaurant Busaba in a bid to tempt the talented coach away from London and up to the north west.

Staff are being asked to learn Catalan in order to greet Guardiola and his wife and the chef at the award-winning restaurant is also working on a new Thai and Catalonian fusion menu.

Executive Chef Jude Krit said: "Thai Buddhism culture is 'living with happiness' which is why we're doing all we can to appeal to and hopefully welcome Pep.

"We're currently experimenting with a dish inspired by the man himself called 'The Philosopher' which fuses Thai noodle soup with Catalonia escudella and this will only be available to Guardiola himself."

Busaba CEO Jason Myers added: "Manchester is a city buzzing with atmosphere and culture which is the reason we chose it as our first flagship restaurant outside of London.

MANCHESTER CALLING: Whether he choses Red or Blue Guardiola is welcome in Manchester

"Guardiola himself has a similar decision to make with many English clubs competing for his signature and we hope he sees our gesture as a sign of how eager Manchester is to get him.

"Whether that's as a red or blue, he'll always have a seat at our table."
