Hannover 96 have brought in attacking reinforcements after securing the services of striker Adam Szalai on a six-month loan from fellow Bundesliga outfit TSG Hoffenheim.
The 28-year-old makes the move to HDI-Arena after appearing just five times in all competitions this season, and will have the option to make his stay permanent when his loan deal expires.
Commenting on his loan switch, Slazai told the club's official website: "I am looking forward to the new challenge.
"I very much hope that I can share some good performances here and get into the squad for the European Championship.
"But what is more important to me is that at the end of the season Hannover avoid relegation."
Slazai will focus all of his efforts on improving his fitness, with a view to playing some part in Hannover 96's clash with Darmstadt at Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor on 23 January.
