EPL Transfer: Manchester City to swoop for Isco

A £30 million move for Real Madrid's out of favour attacking midfielder Isco could be on the cards for Manchester City, according to reports from Spain.
The 23-year-old is a hot prospect for many of Europe's top clubs, but the Sky Blues have allegedly stolen a march on their rivals, with Spanish publication Fichajes reporting that City's chief executive Ferran Soriano has flown to Madrid to sign a deal.
And the Spaniard is believed to want a move away from the Bernabeu, having struggled to tie down a regular spot in a Real Madrid starting line-up awash with some of the world's best players.
It is believed Soriano has met with Real Madrid general manager Angel Sanchez to attempt to lock down the deal before any other clubs – namely Paris St Germain – make an offer of their own.
Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has a history with the young Spaniard, having worked with Isco when he was an up-and-coming star at former club Malaga.
