Accrington Stanley vs Carlisle - As you were for Accrington

Accrington have no new problems ahead of the Boxing Day visit of Carlisle.

Seamus Conneely returned from a groin injury to start at Stevenage last weekend and the defender could keep his place in the team.

Stanley boss John Coleman, who caused controversy in midweek when he criticised Carlisle being allowed to play their home games at neutral grounds while Brunton Park recovered from flood damage, has the likes of Anthony Barry, Andy Procter, Terry Gornell and Liam Wakefield available should he wish to freshen things up.

Dean Winnard has been out for just over a month with an ankle problem but the defender is nearing a return.

Carlisle midfielder Luke Joyce could come into the reckoning for the trip.

Joyce sat out his side's win against Notts County with a groin injury but has declared himself fit to face his former club.

A place on the bench is likely for Joyce, with midfielder pairing Jason Kennedy and Gary Dicker impressing against County.

Striker Kevin Osei will not be involved after the club announced on Wednesday he has left the club by mutual consent.
