Blackburn Rovers vs Nottingham Forest - Blackburn manager Paul Lambert likely to make changes

Blackburn manager Paul Lambert is likely to shuffle his pack when Rovers take on Nottingham Forest in the Sky Bet Championship on Monday.

Friday's 1-0 victory over Rotherham was Blackburn's third in four games since Lambert took over but he has relied on the same players and knows he must give some a rest.

Lambert told BBC Radio Lancashire: "Two games in three days is hard. We'll need to look at that. It's a big ask to ask the same group to go again. But for the ones who've not played as much, it's an opportunity."

Corry Evans had been a doubt for Friday's clash because of a groin problem but came through 90 minutes.

Nottingham Forest manager Dougie Freedman is expected to make changes to his team given they played as recently as Friday.

They drew 1-1 at Wolves, when substitute Dexter Blackstock came off the bench to score their equaliser.

Fellow substitutes Jamie Ward and Jonny Williams could also be in contention to start following impressive contributions.

Ward's appearance was his first since his recovery from a back injury.
