Shrewsbury Town vs Walsall: Shrewsbury set for managerless Walsall
Posted Tuesday, December 01, 2015 by PA
Shrewsbury could be unchanged as they host managerless Walsall.
Town drew 2-2 with Gillingham on Saturday with Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro back in the squad after missing several games to deal with a personal issue.
Mat Sadler is available again after suspension and is fighting to regain his first team place after being left out against the Gills following his ban.
The initial game was called off in November due to international call-ups for the Saddlers.
Dean Smith left Walsall for Brentford on Monday to end almost five years in charge at the Banks's Stadium.
Professional development coach John Ward will take the team, along with physio Jon Whitney and goalkeeping coach Neil Cutler.
Sam Mantom is close to a comeback after an ankle injury but the Saddlers could be unchanged following their 2-1 win over Bradford at the weekend.
Isaiah Osbourne remains sidelined with a knee problem which has kept him out since the start of the season and he is yet to make his debut.
