Cristiano Ronaldo is ‘ready to return’ to Man United even if PSG offer more money

Another Sunday, another Cristiano Ronaldo story.

For the umpteenth time Manchester United fans are told this weekend that Cristiano Ronaldo is “ready to return” to Old Trafford.

Ronaldo’s desire to return to Manchester is apparently so strong that the Mirror claim he’ll reject any offers to PSG, even if the Parisians put together a more attractive financial package.

Ronaldo’s position at Real Madrid has been under the microscope for a while now, ever since Florentino Perez slapped him around the face.

Cristiano’s performances on the pitch appear to have also taken a nose dive in recent weeks, particularly as Barcelona humbled Los Blancos 4-0 in El Clasico.

But does that mean he’s leaving?

Last weekend, Canal+ broadcasted Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes saying it’s “impossible” his client will leave the Santiago Bernabeu.

It’s worth noting that Mendes has been singing this tune for some time however, while Ronaldo himself seems to be keeping the door ajar to a possible transfer in the future.

It’s also true that last Sunday a host of newspapers pushed quotes from Louis van Gaal that revealed Manchester United are keen on bringing back Ronaldo.

Then on Tuesday Marca published a lengthy article detailing how Sir Alex Ferguson has been tasked with playing a behind the scenes role in order to re-sign Ronaldo for United this summer.
