Mesut Ozil dons Christmas jumper, demands Arsenal fans do the same

Mesut Ozil is getting into the festive spirit...

Mesut Ozil is clearly already looking forward to the hectic festive fixture schedule in the Premier League – and the Arsenal star got into the Christmas spirit by donning one of the club’s new winter jumpers.

Ozil helped to inspire Arsenal to a 3-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League on Tuesday night as he scored the Gunners’ opener with a low header before two goals from Alexis Sanchez at Emirates Stadium.

The Germany playmaker looked in good spirits as he posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Wednesday afternoon and wrote: “Hi guys. ✌😊 This @Arsenal winter jumper is nuts! 😉 I would love to see everybody wearing it at our next home game. 😎 #winterjumper #winteriscoming #gift”

Ozil has been in fine form for Arsenal in recent games and has now been involved in 11 goals in the Gunners’ last nine matches.

The World Cup winner will be expecting to feature when the north London side return to Premier League action with a trip to Norwich City in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
