Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini has told Barcelona they have no interest in parting with Alessandro Florenzi and Miralem Pjanic.
Midfielder Florenzi has been linked with a move to the Camp Nou since scoring that wonder goal from the touchline against Barca in their opening game of the Champions League group stages.
The 24-year-old, who is a product of the Serie A club's youth system, has made 17 appearances in all competitions for Rudi Garcia's side this season.
Meanwhile, fellow midfielder Pjanic has also reportedly attracted interest from the Blaugrana after impressing for the Giallorossi this term, scoring eight goals in 15 outings.
But Sabatini insists the Rome outfit are not about to weaken their squad, no matter how much money the Catalan giants throw at them.
"We don't need any money," he told Mediaset television. "Barcelona may like Florenzi and Pjanic, but we need to make our own team more and more competitive every year and the first thing we have to do is make decisions based on technical aspects.
"We're honoured that a club like Barcelona are interested in our players, but they are not for sale."
