Man Utd News: Van Gaal drops transfer hint, midfielder blow, Memphis challenged

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has hinted that he will try to sign a winger in the upcoming January transfer window.
"I said on September 1 that I think we have a better balance in our selection," the Dutchman is quoted by Goal as saying.
"And I suspected we would do better than last year.
"But still I need more balance in my selection and I have already said that we need fast wingers to get us to where we have to be."
Meanwhile, Besiktas have reiterated their desire to keep Red Devils target Oguzhan Ozyakup at the Ataturk Stadium.
The Turkish club's president, Fikret Orman, is quoted by talkSPORT as saying: "He will not be leaving over the winter.
''There is no way we can let that happen.
"After Euro 2016 I do not know if we will be able to keep him."
And finally, Van Gaal has challenged Memphis to produce the form he showed in last weekend's 2-1 victory over Watford on a regular basis.
Goal quote the former Ajax boss as saying: "I'm a coach who always demands in not just one match but in several matches.
"He played more or less the same system [against Watford] as I played with the Dutch national team, certainly in the second half.
"Like Arjen Robben he had more freedom, and these players are happier with more freedom.
"In the second half he was a bit lesser than in the first half but that is logical after a long time out."
